On that day, we have no class with Miss Zu. Miss Zu said that we must sent the red files to her. The portfolio must have an activity that we did in the class.
My red files just simple not like the other files. But I kept all the things in the portfolio what we had done in the ELC class.
I hope that Miss Zu will happy tought us in their class. Even though we were get she mad. She always be patient and did not want to be an angry person.

The listening test for test 3
Assalamualaikum and Hi,
18th September 2013,
This week were the last class in this semester. I felt like how fast the time was run out. The final exam just in a few weeks. Its make me felt scary and nervous. This year was my first time take an exam at the university.
Class started,
We have a last listening test. Before that, Miss Zu gave the test 2 paper. I got 5.5 marks. Its make I felt that I am in the dangerous because my english was not very good enough. I have to make more efforts to get a good marks.
The test started,
I listen to the story carefully and try to understand. i can answer the questions but I did not know my answers was correct or not. The test just 15 minutes. After the test was finish. Class ends.

Miss Zu gave us the test 1 paper that we had done before this. Miss Zu said that test 2 quite difficult than test 1. She said like that because our marks in the test 1 almost got 7 marks and higher. A few students got 10 marks. Miss Zu said that she did not brought the test 2 paper because she forgot to bring the paper.
Miss Zu explain about the format in the final exam. She told us to understand what the questions want and how to answers the questions. Miss Zu said that if you did not understand, you cannot answers the questions correctly. Class ends.

When I arrived in front of the class, I saw Hazni and Erra were standing and anxiety. They were ask me who are my groups members. I said that my group members were Tisya and Eija. I knew that on of the person in their group still did not came.
I wondering why she came late even though she knew on that day she have a group discussion test. Hazni and Erra make a dicission to take me in their groups. Miss Zu very patient and continues the test.

Electric being disturb

Before I came to the class ,I walk at the admin building. There was no electric at the place that time. I was like what happened to the building. Then I just walked to ELC class. I do not want to came late again. At the lab, the door opened very wide. Then Miss Zu said that all place in the university have no electric.
Class started,
Miss Zu tought us so fast on that day, because the place is hot and there were no windows at the lab. Miss Zu gave us a tips for the group discussion test. Miss Zu gave us explanation very fast but we were understood about what she is talking about.

The groups discussion activity
Assalamualaikum and Hi,
22nd August 2013,
As usual Faika and I came late to the class because we lost and cannot find the proper class. It is very funny moment when we enter the wrong class. I feel very lucky because the wrong class we entered is nobody there.
Faika and I like running to get the proper class without coming late. But we are still came late at the class. We just pay RM1 to Miss Zu because we do not know we are late what minutes.
Class started,
Miss Zu explain how to perform in the play in groups about the test. We are divided into 8 groups. Each groups have 3 or 4 person. I got the 7 groups and my groups members is Eja , Tishah and me just 3 of us into the group 7.

Talk show about Anorexia and Bulimia diseases

Miss Zu said that we have to continues the listening exercises. But have a student do not bring their paper and the absent student. So Miss Zu feel to be angry but still be patient. We were continues the section C and discuss the correct answers. I just got 8 marks over 15 marks. The marks is so low.
Miss Zu explains the activities on that day. It is about talk show and discuss the matter given. All students is divided by 4 groups. I am at the group 3 and my group is Farahain, Assita, Aida, Eja, Farah and also me. We need to choose number 1 to 5 and what number we want to pick. My groups choose number 5. The questions is why girls had a Anorexia and Bulimia diseases.
We discuss who want to be a host. Farahain and Assita want to be a host. Others characters is doctor and Anorexia and Bulimia patients. Aida and I became a doctor characters. During the week, we all still in the mood of Raya. There is no passion to learn on that week. I also have a same mood with them. But I try to accept that the life of a university student. At semester break we will be having a one month holiday. So I have a lot of time during the semester break.
We came early on that day, but there are still have others students in the class. So I feel relieved for not coming late to the class. While I waiting at the outside of the classroom, I heard that definitely have a listening exercises.
Class started,
As usual Miss Zu started the class with Surah Alfatihah , and started learning us. Miss Zu said on that day we have to do an exercises. Why we doing the exercises because it can make us to be familiar to answer the listening test later.
The exercises started,
I need to focus and understand what the narrator said. If we do not understand what he said, we do not know how to answer the question. I can answer the question given. After finished answering questions, we have to exchange paper with other friends beside us. We discuss what the correct answers. I do not get the higher mark. Just below 10 marks. Talk Show about Madagascar 3 Movie
Assalamualaikum and Hi,
1st August 2013,
We late came to class again for the second times. I do not know why that week Faika and me came late to the class. Maybe we were excited to come back home. Like usual, I prepared RM1 to give at Miss Zu because we came late again but Miss Zu said that if students came after 15 minutes class started, so that we must paid RM1. We were lucky because we arrived 10 minutes after class started.
Class started,
Every week Miss Zu prepared an activities to give us. At that day, we must divided into 4 groups. I entered group 2 and our performance will be number 3. The movie that our groups get is Madagascar 3. The movie is very interesting movie. group 2 just have 6 members that is Azzam, Hazni, Ain, Liana, Assita and me. I became a directors and producers. Azzam became a main characters, Assita and Liana also have a characters. Ain and Hazni became a host celebrity of the talk show.
We discuss about how to get a good talk show and cooperate with all members of the groups. I am a little shy girl actually but they said that just spontaneous and open minded. I will try and can do it when the group were perform. Although I talk not very clear but I can speak in english. Ain was very funny person. She is very spontaneous person. All students were laugh when Ain started spoke. I also laugh because it is so funny. Our group have to finish it fastest because do not have much times. That all.

The Variant Little Tailor

Class started,
Miss Zu ask the students to submit their first personal log. Every students check their paper very well. But have a few students do not ready yet to submit because they do not print their personal log. Miss Zu feel disappointed with them who not finish their personal log.
Miss Zu just continues the class with test 1 ELC 120, it is about listening test. The test took for about 30 minutes. We answered all the question very confident. At the same day, Miss Zu gives the story for the second personal log. The second personal log is The Variant Little Tailor story. I never heard about the story and I just listening to the story. The story have to listen quite long story and makes me feel boring. But I have to listen the story till the end. The Variant Little Tailor story have a lot of moral values. When I understand about the story and it makes easier to me to summerise the story well. Hope you enjoys read it.

My opinion in this story is the little tailor is very
wise to deceived the giants. I never thought that even though, the giants has a
bigger size than the little tailor but he managed to defeat the giants because
of his wisdom. For example, when the giants challenged the little tailor, the
giants took a stone in his hand and squeezed it so that water will dropped out
of it. Then, the little tailor put his hand into the pocket, brought out the
soft cheese and squeezed it until the liquid ran out. I wonder about why the
giants wants to kill the little tailor because the little tailor did the right
things. I notice that the king should fulfil his promises because the little
tailor have done what the king has required. I predict that the king is
honourable to the little tailor but he just wanted to tricked him. The king
should not be looked down to the little tailor because he is just a tailor.
This reminds me of the little tailor has saved the kingdom from evil. Wisdom is
very important than strength. If we use wisdom to fight evils, we will
certainly be successful. This part of the story makes me feel that the little
tailor is very good and always helping others, the reward that he received is
also great.

The Husband And The Parrot

The title of the assignment is The Husband And The Parrot. For the first time, I never know about the story. Then, I am listening to the story. I quite do not understand about the story. But I am try to listen it.
This is my soft copy about the story :
Become common as the husband loves his wife. My opinion in this story is do not wrong to investigate a matter, but do not punish if we do not have a valid proof. I predict that the husband trust to the parrot but he was be fooled by his wife easily. This part of the story makes me feel pity at the parrot because the parrot tells the truth of what is seen, but was killed by him. I never thought that his wife could doing like that. I notice that the parrot is very honest. I wonder about his wife because she was apologized to her husband when the parrots were dead and she will not turn it back. I think in this story parrots was a victim of the situation to the husband and his wife.

Become common as the husband loves his wife. My opinion in this story is do not wrong to investigate a matter, but do not punish if we do not have a valid proof. I predict that the husband trust to the parrot but he was be fooled by his wife easily. This part of the story makes me feel pity at the parrot because the parrot tells the truth of what is seen, but was killed by him. I never thought that his wife could doing like that. I notice that the parrot is very honest. I wonder about his wife because she was apologized to her husband when the parrots were dead and she will not turn it back. I think in this story parrots was a victim of the situation to the husband and his wife.

Assignmnet time :)
Assalamualaikum and Hi,
11th July 2013,
Class started,
Miss Zu told us that all students must have to do an assignment about ELC 120. Miss Zu provided information about the assignment. We listen to what have Miss Zu said to us. We must finished our assignment in one week.
The assignment is about listening to the story and make our opininon about the story. Whether we like the story or not. The assignment look easy but we must have to listen carefully what have a person said about the story. One more things, we must understand the story well. When we do not understand, we do not know how to give an opinion at the assignment.
Time is over. We must end the class.

Class started,
Miss Zu told us that all students must have to do an assignment about ELC 120. Miss Zu provided information about the assignment. We listen to what have Miss Zu said to us. We must finished our assignment in one week.
The assignment is about listening to the story and make our opininon about the story. Whether we like the story or not. The assignment look easy but we must have to listen carefully what have a person said about the story. One more things, we must understand the story well. When we do not understand, we do not know how to give an opinion at the assignment.

Debate at the class :)

Today I am wondering what activities will be provided by Miss Zu for us.
Class started,
Miss Zu enter the class with their smile. Miss Zu said that today she wants to make some activities with us about debate. Miss Zu ask anyone who has ever seen the person who is debated. A few students in the class have seen debated performance.
Miss Zu tell us about the debate and how to understand and how the actual when debated. When debating, must have a government and opponent. When we become a government side, we must have an idea to solve the problems about issues that they discussed. When we become an opponent side, we must have to protest what have government said and make a new idea to make their idea become not general to us.
We divided into 4 groups. 2 groups become government side and the others 2 groups become an opponent. My groups become an opponent side. The title of the debate is it true men are easy to work with and more creative than women especially when it involves group work? That is the title that we must discussed. because we are team that must protest about the title, we must said that women are better than men.
When the debate started, the government started to said about men. and our groups must said that women are easy to work than men. At last, time will not wait for us. We are enjoyed with the activities.

Q Skills Books
Assalamualaikum and Hi,

As usual everyday always have a student that went late to the class. Miss Zu always wonder why they always came late to their class. Nevermind, Miss Zu started the class with surah Al-Fatihah.
Miss Zu always said to us to buy Q skills books. Everyone must have it. At that time, a few students do not have the books. Then make my lovely lecturer become angry but still control. Miss Zu continues our class and talk about the book.
Miss Zu said when we sat at the chair to open the book at the last page. There is a piece of paper and we must scratch using coins. There have a number at the paper. The number we used when register at the Q skills link.
All students at the class used the same link to register their own name.We fill what is required then a lot of exercise in the link. Miss Zu told us to do exercise unit 1 about one week to finish it. After that, time does not wait for us. Class end.

P. Ramlee Story :)
Assalamuaaikum and Hi,
27th June 2013,
Class started,
Miss Zuraidah gave us group activities. She told us to make a P. Ramlee play. The students were divided into 5 groups. I got the fifth group which is Anisah, Farah, Helmi, Hazni and last but not least was me. We plays in the story of Ali Baba, but in English. We discuss to choose what's interesting scene of Ali Baba's Story.
Miss Zuraidah give us a few minutes to prepare before playing the role. My character was as a Ali Baba's wife. Helmi character as a Ali Baba , Anisah character as a Kassim Baba's wife , Hazni character as a Kassim Baba , and last Farah character as a maid of Kassim Baba.
Group 5 was the last group to perform. Each group must choose the best acting characters. Lastly, Azzam was selected as the best actor of boys. Anne was selected as the best actors of girls.

Third Class at ELC 120 Class
Assalamualaikum and Hi,
26th June 2013,
Our third class at the same place like last week. Today we know where the class. Not like the first day we found the class after 30 minutes walk. Miss Zuraidah was very dissapointed because a few students still don't have the english book including me.
Class started,
Miss Zuraidah asked to open the exercises book with some activities at page 6. Today we learn about listening to the conversation. The activies quite interesting. It can make students focus when listening the conversation. At the exercises book have a few questions that we must find the answers from the conversation. Class ends quickly at 10 am.

My Journey at ELC 120 class
Assalamualaikum,
19th June 2013,
I'm new student at UiTM Segamat, Johor. I was like blur person and I don't know anything at all. Before my friends and I found ELC class , we are lost and don't know where the ELC class. We went out early to find a new class. After 30 minutes, we saw a sweeper and ask where the class that we means it. Then she shows where the class. Then after we found the class, I was like happy and relieved.
Miss Zuraidah tell to Faika and I must sitting in front of her table. We feel that very forward to the white board.
Class started,
Miss Zuraidah start learning about ELC. I'm blur and don't know anything. She said that so many students in her class. I just smiling and laughing because she was so funny teachers. The class not so silent and not too noisy. Class end very fast.

My name is Aira Syazwina Binti Ayob. I am eighteen years old. I was born on 8 Sepetember 1995. I was born in Hospital Besar Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang. I live at Kampung Perigi Nenas in Pulau Indah, Selangor Darul Ehsan. I'm the third from six siblings. I'm taking Banking courses at JBM1191D class in UiTM Segamat , Johor.
I'm just a simple person who like to follow the rules and friends with everyone. I'm quite sensitive and cry easily. When I'm studying at Johor made me more independent. And I more thing I like to wear Baju Kurung when going to the class. I feel very comfortable.
