The Variant Little Tailor

Assalamualaikum and Hi,

17th July 2013,

Class started,
Miss Zu ask the students to submit their first personal log. Every students check their paper very well. But have a few students do not ready yet to submit because they do not print their personal log. Miss Zu feel disappointed with them who not finish their personal log.

Miss Zu just continues the class with test 1 ELC 120, it is about listening test. The test took for about 30 minutes. We answered all the question very confident. At the same day, Miss Zu gives the story for the second personal log. The second personal log is The Variant Little Tailor story. I never heard about the story and I just listening to the story. The story have to listen quite long story and makes me feel boring. But I have to listen the story till the end. The Variant Little Tailor story have a lot of moral values. When I understand about the story and it makes easier to me to summerise the story well. Hope you enjoys read it.

PERSONAL LISTENING LOG (PL-LA)

My opinion in this story is the little tailor is very wise to deceived the giants. I never thought that even though, the giants has a bigger size than the little tailor but he managed to defeat the giants because of his wisdom. For example, when the giants challenged the little tailor, the giants took a stone in his hand and squeezed it so that water will dropped out of it. Then, the little tailor put his hand into the pocket, brought out the soft cheese and squeezed it until the liquid ran out. I wonder about why the giants wants to kill the little tailor because the little tailor did the right things. I notice that the king should fulfil his promises because the little tailor have done what the king has required. I predict that the king is honourable to the little tailor but he just wanted to tricked him. The king should not be looked down to the little tailor because he is just a tailor. This reminds me of the little tailor has saved the kingdom from evil. Wisdom is very important than strength. If we use wisdom to fight evils, we will certainly be successful. This part of the story makes me feel that the little tailor is very good and always helping others, the reward that he received is also great.

The title of the assignment is The Husband And The Parrot. For the first time, I never know about the story. Then, I am listening to the story. I quite do not understand about the story. But I am try to listen it.

Become common as the husband loves his wife. My opinion in this story is do not wrong to investigate a matter, but do not punish if we do not have a valid proof. I predict that the husband trust to the parrot but he was be fooled by his wife easily. This part of the story makes me feel pity at the parrot because the parrot tells the truth of what is seen, but was killed by him. I never thought that his wife could doing like that. I notice that the parrot is very honest. I wonder about his wife because she was apologized to her husband when the parrots were dead and she will not turn it back. I think in this story parrots was a victim of the situation to the husband and his wife.

Class started,
Miss Zu told us that all students must have to do an assignment about ELC 120. Miss Zu provided information about the assignment. We listen to what have Miss Zu said to us. We must finished our assignment in one week.

The assignment is about listening to the story and make our opininon about the story. Whether we like the story or not. The assignment look easy but we must have to listen carefully what have a person said about the story. One more things, we must understand the story well. When we do not understand, we do not know how to give an opinion at the assignment.

Time is over. We must end the class.

Debate at the class :)

Today I am wondering what activities will be provided by Miss Zu for us.

Class started,
Miss Zu enter the class with their smile. Miss Zu said that today she wants to make some activities with us about debate. Miss Zu ask anyone who has ever seen the person who is debated. A few students in the class have seen debated performance.

Miss Zu tell us about the debate and how to understand and how the actual when debated. When debating, must have a government and opponent. When we become a government side, we must have an idea to solve the problems about issues that they discussed. When we become an opponent side, we must have to protest what have government said and make a new idea to make their idea become not general to us.

We divided into 4 groups. 2 groups become government side and the others 2 groups become an opponent. My groups become an opponent side. The title of the debate is it true men are easy to work with and more creative than women especially when it involves group work? That is the title that we must discussed. because we are team that must protest about the title, we must said that women are better than men.

When the debate started, the government started to said about men. and our groups must said that women are easy to work than men. At last, time will not wait for us. We are enjoyed with the activities.

Q Skills Books

Assalamualaikum and Hi,

Class started,
As usual everyday always have a student that went late to the class. Miss Zu always wonder why they always came late to their class. Nevermind, Miss Zu started the class with surah Al-Fatihah.

Miss Zu always said to us to buy Q skills books. Everyone must have it. At that time, a few students do not have the books. Then make my lovely lecturer become angry but still control. Miss Zu continues our class and talk about the book.

Miss Zu said when we sat at the chair to open the book at the last page. There is a piece of paper and we must scratch using coins. There have a number at the paper. The number we used when register at the Q skills link.

All students at the class used the same link to register their own name.We fill what is required then a lot of exercise in the link. Miss Zu told us to do exercise unit 1 about one week to finish it. After that, time does not wait for us. Class end.
